Zane is 7 years old and is after several attempts he is learning to stand. This young man has Amazing Spirit and determination. Pictured above he demonstrates this by standing independently whilst holding onto a pot plant.

The Residents of Phoenix Hostel in conjunction with the Service Users of the Phoenix Challenge Protective Training Workshop enjoyed a fun filled picnic at the Centre on Friday, 30th March 2012.
Residents and Service users created brightly coloured posters to commemorate Human Rights Day and the March Mental Health Awareness Campaign, which were pinned on the fence of the premises to highlight the Rights of Persons with Mental Disability.
After singing and soaking up the atmosphere, everyone enjoyed a delicious picnic consisting of sandwiches, cool drinks, chips and sweets.
